Welcome to Pleasant Rise Farm!
When Patty and I moved here from Pennsylvania in 1999, we felt we had finally found “home”. She began living her childhood dream of having horses and I began my dream, semi-retirement job of working in an old-time hardware store.
Life was great for awhile but things took a tragic turn and on July 11, 2008, Patty died from cancer.
I’ve dedicated this website to keeping her spirit alive, as I continue on, buoyed by the gifts of love and determination that she gave to me and to all who experienced the joy of being with her.
Please note that this site is a work-in-progress, as I uncover more memories and find new adventures.
